Overview

Kiran Subbaiah was trained as a sculptor from Royal College of Art, London and MSU, Baroda. He works in many genres including photography, video, sculpture and installation. It is often through the act of humour and irony that the artist is able to draw out his observations on the world.

Narcissicon is inseparably entangled from daydreaming. It is a 43 minute video without a definitive beginning or end. The earliest shot dates back to five years ago, some of the text dates back to fourteen years ago and certain robotic moves were conceived nine years ago but completed much later. The video will be accompanied by a group of film stills.
