Venue: Mubarak Haveli, Lahore

The artist has used charcoal as her medium, creating extraordinarily sensitive drawings, on paper and cloth, which vary in scale from the intimate to the monumental.  The topographical forms discernible in many of the landscapes have led to the series title, Moon Mirrors Mountains. At times the objects of her inquiry are rendered with a measure of realism, whilst at others they are presented abstracted and in their most elemental form: the moon as the circle, the mountain as the triangle.
