Overview

Jiten Thukral and Sumir Tagra have worked collaboratively under the alias of Thukral & Tagra since 2000. In this time they have experimented with a wide variety of media ranging from painting, installation and video to music, fashion, graphic and product design. Within the rubric of their signature project Bosedk’ they have been able to blur fine art with design and popular culture. The basic premise of the Mumbai exhibition deals with consumerism and the rapid expansion of the mall culture in urban India. Both canvas and installation based works will be on display.
